Description
Cranberries contain a lot of fibre, vitamins: B1, B2, B6, C, E, carotene, as well as minerals: sodium, potassium, phosphorus, calcium, magnesium, iodine and iron. Cranberries also have an invaluable impact on the urinary system, help fight urinary tract infections or cystitis. In addition, they have antibacterial properties, thanks to which they effectively protect teeth against caries. Additionally, they reduce the risk of coronary heart disease, prevent the development of arteriosclerosis and the formation of life-threatening blood clots. Substances contained in cranberries stop some bacteria that cause stomach ulcers, e.g. they inhibit the deposition of the bacteria Helicobacter pylori in the gastric mucosa.
